Happy New Marketing Year

Looking back on 2009 there are a lot of interesting trends I can’t wait to follow even more in 2010. Social media is a given and, seeing how a company like Pepsi is moving its $20 dollar Super Bowl budget to social media, I am sure we will see even more interesting news on that front. However, the one thing I keep seeing in all our work and, talked about by both industry people and clients, is engagement. It does not matter how you get the traffic or what information you are trying to pass on if you cannot produce engaging sites. All effort is lost. It’s the engaging site that will have customers coming back, it’s the engaging site which clients will want to spend time on and read.
